Grand Return
OK, so I didn’t blog for 2 months. So sue me. I’ve been dealing with life. Here’s what I’ve been doing:
- Coping with a broken heart
- Graduating from grad school
- Collapsing from exhaustion for what felt like several years
- Suffering post-semester slump
- Trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up
- Attending my professional association’s annual conference
- Dealing with vandalism to my car (broken window, still not fixed)
- Finally figuring out what I wanted to do with my career
- Sending out a million resumes
- Building and maintaining a social life
- Flying to New England for a weekend
- Being offered The Perfect Job Opportunity that I didn’t even apply for and can’t turn down
- Getting my dead car battery replaced
- Starting to clean out the junk in my apartment to prepare for packing
- Beginning to tie up loose ends at my two jobs
- Planning out my last month in DC
- Learning a new sport (disc golf)
- Wondering how everything can feel like it’s happening at once when 2 months have already gone by
- Still coping with a still-broken heart
Now it’s time to return to blogging. I may or may not catch you up on the dramas, the heartache, the triumphs, and the job stuff, but I’ll blog again. And I’ll be happy if it kills me. Because I’m happy much of the time, so all the hard stuff is just filler for the in-between spaces.

No, I’m not going to say anything about it until my name is officially on the contract. Until then, there’s a chance it could fall through. That will make more sense when I explain it. I just don’t want to jinx it or get my hopes up more than they already are. :)
